You have a real eye for nature. I have a piece of “Mormom Rock” right in front of me. Its off-white about fist size and has all these little holes in it. Real interesting texture

If you are looking for some more interesting subjects locally you have Devils Punchbowl just up the road from Mormom Rock. The East Branch Aqueduct of the State Water Project. Calico Ghost town. Maybe this spring drive out to Borrego Springs to catch the Desert Wildflowers and do a hike up Palm Canyon.
